Lebron James lobbies for NBA to launch its own ‘Hard Knocks’ type of series. This idea comes from Lebron James himself. If you have not heard, Lebron is a superstar in the National Basketball League (NBA) with Cleveland Cavalier. He is currently the leading point guard in the league with 26 points and 7 rebounds per game.
Well, he wants to be the top player in the league. He wants his jersey number ( numbering 11) to be on the All-Star team. He also wants his likeness to be on all those autograph photos that go around town. In fact, he has made a few requests to the NBA, to do this. I have a hard time believing he’ll ever be given the opportunity to do this, as it seems the league does everything they can to keep their players locked into contracts.
So, here we have it. Lebron James lobbies for NBA to create a Hard Knocks series. The series will cover all of his life, including his days in High School. It will show the road he traveled, the teams he played with, the tournaments he played in. And most importantly, it will touch the youth, who are inspired by him because of his humble background.
What does this mean? Well, it means that kids who are inspired by Lebron James will want to emulate him. They will see that he did make it in spite of what people say. He is unafraid, even when things were not going his way, that he still persevered.
He even decided that he would rather play overseas than in the United States, due to the size and exposure of the United States. He mentioned that he would give up some of his paychecks to be able to go. Why should he have to sacrifice something so very important? Why? Because people think of him as a foreigner, which I suppose is true, but it is not the truth.
He is just another normal human being, going through hard knocks. That is all there is to it. And if he can overcome those circumstances and stay positive, he will definitely be an All-Star. But if he tries too hard, he loses his identity and fails to live up to the hype. This is why I believe that Hard Knocks will benefit Lebron greatly.
The good thing is that kids should be exposed to hard knocks, and not be too critical of someone who struggles. We all take a few knocks, whether it be in school or at home. The key is that we learn from our experiences and move on. The hard knocks that Lebron James has had are the lessons he will use in his future endeavors.
Some see the Hard Knocks series as a huge letdown, but that is not true. Hard Knocks is a great program that teaches kids about overcoming obstacles. It will give them a broader view of who they can be and what they have the power to do. Lebron James is certainly going to make history by becoming one of the greatest ever, and his teammates along with him will show him the way.
You could say that they were the ‘T-Boys’ of the league during their prime. But there is a difference. When you are young, you don’t have any experience fighting other teams. As your experience grows and you get older, you become a team player, a leader, and a team player. Being part of a team will teach you more than being on your own.
Lebron James has proven that he is a great leader, and he has even led his team to victory. He leads by example. If he wants to make his mark, he needs to lead by example. That is exactly what he is doing. His coach, Pat Riley, sees it in him, and he uses it to his great advantage on the court. Young players learn by example, and one of Lebron’s great skills is his ability to influence and motivate.
He does this, and all the other young stars on the team, to show them that they can achieve great things. This includes being part of a great family unit, along with some of the older team members. It all makes Lebron and his teammates part of an extended family. So many families these days don’t have that luxury. When you have a superstar like Lebron James as a family member, you know you are getting something incredible.
