Does US privacy law standstill? It surely does! The world is changing at lightning speeds. Personal Computers, mobile devices, and the Internet are all things of the past.

So, what is our current privacy law? Is it up to date? Not really. We are indeed living in a “world” of change. But, while each of us changes with the changing times, the law does not always change with them.

Some people claim that the Fourth Amendment was written to protect Americans from being “collected” by the US government. However, this has been widely rejected by the Supreme Court. Does this mean that we do not have a right to our private records? Not necessarily. However, this also means that the government cannot freely search our personal records without a warrant or a judge’s signature.

So, where does this leave us? Well, the best solution is to work hard to make sure that we understand our privacy rights and that we guard them diligently. The first step is to take care of our own privacy. There are a number of ways to ensure that we feel our privacy rights are protected. Some of those include:

Using electronic devices when on the internet, such as smartphones and laptops. This ensures that no one can listen in on our phone calls, read our emails, or view our electronic documents without our explicit permission. In addition, many of us now have our own smartphones that are able to send and receive emails as well as browse the internet. Therefore, if someone wants to contact us, they generally need either our permission or their own smartphone to do so.

Also, don’t let anyone else use your computer. There are actually many instances where a spouse or a friend has gotten into the habit of trying to gain access to our personal information by using the computer at home. For example, a cheating spouse may go online and groom themselves prior to going to bed at night. While we would never think of having sex with a person who is hiding behind a computer, chances are they are doing it behind your back every night.

Protecting ourselves and our children from the dangers of Internet predators is another area that will allow us to feel safe. There are actually some programs available that can help you monitor who your children are talking to as well as what websites they are visiting. However, it is up to you as the parent to make sure that the program that is being used is legal and does not harm your children. If you suspect something is wrong, it is important that you report the activity to the proper authorities.

Finally, it is important to realize that the Internet and technology, in general, are constantly growing. With this in mind, it is not unreasonable for Internet and technology companies to become quite adept at finding new ways of protecting personal information. For example, new software programs have been developed that are able to protect your passwords, credit card numbers, and even your social security numbers from being stolen. When someone thinks about how the Internet has increased in popularity, standing still is not really an option anymore.

Is Us Privacy Law Standing Still? The good news is that the US government is more than willing to bend the law and will go to great lengths to make sure that personal information never leaves US shores. Unfortunately, many politicians have supported the idea of surveillance, and have therefore done little to stop it, which is unfortunate. Hopefully, in the future, we will see an end to these privacy invasion lawsuits, but for now, things seem to be looking up for the average American citizen.

Does Us Privacy Law Stand Still? While there is a slight chance that the United States government may move to renew the surveillance techniques that it currently has in place, it would have to come from the government itself. Currently, the private sector is the only major supplier of surveillance equipment and technology to the United States government. In fact, when it comes to fighting for our privacy in the courts, it seems that our government relies more on the testimony of corporations rather than the testimony of the common citizen. Therefore, it seems that is US privacy law standing still.

Is Us Privacy Law Standing Still? Hopefully not, as this war on personal privacy is one that is likely to continue to grow and become worse. If you are concerned about your privacy or are concerned about the future of privacy in the US, there is a strong need to step back and take a look at the current state of the law. You can visit the United States House of Representatives’ site to find out more information on this particular issue.
